Welcome to CFRAC 2025

Welcome to the Eighth International Conference on Computational Modelling of Fracture and Failure of Materials and Structures (CFRAC 2025). After the previous successful conferences in Nantes (2007), Barcelona (2011), Prague (2013), Paris (2015), Nantes (2017), Braunschweig (2019) and Prague (2023), the most recent edition will take place at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal, on 4-6 June 2025.

CFRAC will feature 5 plenary lectures, a special fracture benchmark and 15 mini-symposia focused on the most recent developments and applications of numerical procedures for fracture and failure simulation of materials and structures, fostering fruitful discussions in the related fields of computational fracture mechanics and its applications.
